Beach fun at Easter

We had our first trip to the beach for this year over the Easter weekend. It was Imogen's first experience of walking on sand - at first she wouldn't put her feet down and kept clinging to Caz though by the end of the outing she was trotting off to the wet sand at the edge of the sea!

Trampoline

With the help of many people, we managed to put together the trampoline which we got for Charlotte and Thomas's birthdays. Imogen also loves it and often throws a wobbly when we take her off so Charlotte and Thomas can have a turn!

Great Grandad's 90th birthday

In March, we travelled down to Dorset to celebrate Great Grandad's 90th birthday. His 2 children, 4 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren were all there to help him celebrate. Here he is pictured with all the great-grandchildren.

Visiting Nana Colin

Caz and Imogen visit Nana Colin (so named because of the dog called Colin which she used to have!) each week where Imogen loves playing with the coasters. This is also where Imogen took her first steps around the middle of January 2010.

Charlotte's 8th Birthday

This year for Charlotte and Thomas's joint birthday present, the family all clubbed together and we bought them a trampoline for the garden (see later for pics). So Charlotte had something to open on her birthday we also got her a new game for the Wii - "Just Dance". This photo shows Charlotte and her friend plus Nana and Great Aunty Kathryn all dancing away!

Imogen's First Birthday

Imogen loves "row row row the boat" so we make her a cake on that theme - picture doesn't really do it justice!

She still didn't seem enthustiastic about opening presents so again Charlotte and Thomas stepped in!

Cake tasted good though...

We love snow!

We just had the most fantastic time in the snow this winter - brilliant!

Christmas 2009

Thank you everyone for all our wonderful presents at Christmas. Imogen still did not quite 'get' unwrapping presents so Charlotte and Thomas were on hand and more than willing to assist!

Christmas plays

Charlotte was a King in her school junior Christmas performance this year. Thomas was a King's page in his infant play but flatly refused to have his photo taken to prove it - he hid behind other people on the stage as much as possible and scowled if he saw a glimpse of a camera!

In the Church nativity, Charlotte was the most beautiful Angel ever and we dressed Imogen as a sheep so she could join in too! Thomas refused to join in - he is definitely not a public performer!

Halloween 2009

Rand once again spent hours on his pumpkin design - the end result was worth it!

Caz also had her annual "sister day" at the spa so Rand looked after the kids - Pizza Hut for dinner!

London baby!

What a busy day we had in London - we did a cruise down the Thames and an open top bus tour taking in all the sights. The things that the kids enjoyed most were Trafalgar Square and Hamleys toy shop!

Imogen's progress

Imogen's getting on well with eating and making progress towards crawling. She has attached herself to "sleepy blanket" which is now a necessity in getting her to sleep so Caz has invested in two more identical blankets!
