Caz's 30th Birthday

A huge thank you to everyone who sent messages, cards and presents for Caz's birthday. It was a wonderful day with presents and cake in the morning followed by an afternoon at the beach and then more cake and presents in the evening!

Thomas starts school

Thomas has done really well settling into school and seems to really enjoy it. Nice that his big sister is there in the playground to look out for him.

Jo and Mike's wedding

Congratulations to Jo and Mike who got married at the end of August! Jo did a brilliant job of keeping the whole affair very child friendly so we could all have a great time!

More beach fun!

It's great to live so close to the beach - Charlotte and Thomas both love outings to the seaside!

Camping adventure

We managed to get away for a couple of nights camping with Emma, Paul, Ruth and Nir.
Thomas was very helpful when putting up the tents...

...and cooking the food on the barbecue.

Aunty Ruth did a great job of joining in the sleeping bag races in the evening!

Hever Castle

It was a mixed weather day for our outing to Hever Castle - torrential rain and bright sunny spells!

Rockpooling

We joined in a green gang activity and went rockpooling at St Margarets Bay. Thomas was in his element - clambering through the rock pools with no regard for the fact that he had shoes (not wellies) on - fantastic fun! Charlotte was a little less "hands on" and kept herself on the rocks and just told other people which rocks she wanted lifted up!

And another one gone and another one gone...

Two more teeth fell out over the summer for Charlotte. Tooth Fairy kindly delivered more money!

This one fell out whilst eating a jaffa cake - "there's a crunchy bit in this one" says Charlotte. "Do you think it might be your tooth?" replies clever mummy! Right again!

Amusement arcade and swimming fun!

The water was very cold - Charlotte and Thomas braved it very well - it took Caz and Rand a little longer to get in...

Charlotte's Sports Day 2008

We enjoyed beautiful weather for Charlotte's school sports day this year.

Wildwood visit

Back in July, we had a family outing to Wildwood. For the first time, Rand allowed Charotte and Thomas to use his camera. Charlotte loved it and took about 90 photos in that one day!
