Howletts

We had a family day out on Saturday (despite Rand having a "man-cold") to Howletts wild animal park. We saw lots of elephants including a four week old baby elephant (shown in this picture with an older calf). Thomas enjoyed the park.
 

Train trip

Charlotte and Thomas wanted to go on a train so we decided to do a return trip from Sandling to Dover.
At Dover we enjoyed a picnic on the beach.

 

Courgette

Today we picked our first ever piece of home grown vege! A fine courgette which has been chopped up and put into tonight's lasagne. Yummy! The tomatoes should be ready soon! 

Cinema

Caz took Charlotte and Thomas to the cinema to watch the new Disney film "Cars". Thomas was very impressed with the material of the film (tractors, lorries cars!) and Charlotte also enjoyed seeing it on the big screen. 

Motor racing

Rand and Thomas enjoy some "quality" father-son time whilst watching the hungarian Grand Prix. Hooray for Jenson Button!
