Still at Monkey World, Thomas enjoyed the slide. Posted by Picasa

Monkey World

We went to visit Monkey World in Dorset on Monday. We didn't manage to get any photos of the actual monkeys so we have this one of Charlotte instead. Posted by Picasa

visit to Nanny Burt

We went to visit family in Ryme Intrinseca over the bank holiday weekend. Here is Thomas climbing over Nanny Burt to get to his car which fell behind her pillows! Posted by Picasa

artist at work

Charlotte with her first picture of somthing recognisable (at least to the trained mother eye!). In Charlotte's words, this is "lots of people waiting outside Tesco". You can see the Tesco door on the RHS. Rather worryingly, one of the people has only a head and no body! You may be able to see that the other people have three sections between their head and legs. Charlotte advised me that the first is the neck, then the chest and then the tummy. I didn't upset her by pointing out that the arms are coming out of their necks! Posted by Picasa

train track

an excellent train track was set up by Caz this morning - Rand is slightly competitive over who can build the best train track - I expect we will post a pic of one of his attempts soon...  Posted by Picasa

Bike

Thomas was given some money for his birthday which he decided to spend on a bike. Mummy managed to assemble it herself (well mostly!). He has just mastered steering and we are working on the pedalling.  Posted by Picasa

view!

We enjoyed a lovely walk to the top of Sugarloaf hill near Folkestone with Char Seviour and her family. Charlotte liked the countryside views whilst Thomas was obsessed with the views of the Channel Tunnel and the A20 tunnel  Posted by Picasa
